Day Three review

Despite the daunting start today went well. 80 miles planned route ended at 92 miles which is the record distance covered in a day by both of us. It's been mentally hard work but we managed to push on. The views have been amazing as have the hill climbs and the experience of being part of something bigger everytime you bump into a group of strangers doing the same thing.

Taunton was beautiful, with canals and some nice buildings, Cullumpton was a nice traditional town and was close to diggerland, although we didn't have time to pop in.

We also crossed the M5 five times before dipping straight back into country lanes. It's amazing what you don't see from the comfort of the car.

So tomorrow is a 75 mile day if the directions are right ending in Welsh Bicknor. But the stats for today are 92 miles, 7hrs 52mins, aver 11.5mph and one puncture!
